Hello everyone, I am Marlena Surace.
This is my second blog that I have created. I am very excited about this blog, as it is about my favourite subject, HSIE. Throughout my schooling I thoroughly enjoyed HSIE and can still remember to this day some fun and educational activities I did at school. Some of these include,
· Excursions to Old Sydney Town, Canberra, and Fairfield Museum
· Coat of Arm's activities
· Learning about the Government and First Fleet
· Gold Rush - looking for gold and much, much more.
During my later years of schooling, in Year 12, I studied, Ancient and Modern History and Geography. I thoroughly enjoyed these subjects and content that was taught. It allowed for such an exploration of many different topics and areas of history. It inspired my love of history!
